Offers information, workshops, and developmental checklists for parents.

Service provides:

  • information sessions and resources to families who need extra help in their daily lives
  • workshops throughout the year for parents on positive parenting strategies
  • a developmental checklist to allow parents to see how a child is progressing in relation to their age, as well as a consultation and referrals to other agencies if required

Topics include:

  • tools for dealing with various behaviours in a positive manner
  • financial matters
  • stress management
  • healthy eating
  • staying healthy

Childcare and a light snack is provided at workshops and information sessions.
