  • safe and responsible outdoor experiences for all
  • development and maintenance of infrastructure to support nature-based recreation in parks

Includes:

  • information about the over 470 provincial parks and protected areas, including maps, trip planning information, and up-to-date details about firebans, flooding, avalanches, wildlife issues, park construction, site closures, and anything that might affect a park visit
  • Visitor / Park Centres with information on parks, protected areas, natural regions, and the diversity of plants and wildlife
  • education and interpretation programming to help connect people to nature and heritage
