Provides adults and health providers in Alberta with tools and education for success with weight management.

This program provides weight management education and support to patients and health care professionals.
Patient services include:

Weight Management Group Education Workshop Series
Weight Management Information and Advice Line
Post Bariatric Surgery (Information and Support)

Healthcare professional services include:

Information and advice on patients' self-management of obesity and overweight and treatment options
Education Workshops

Community services include:

Education sessions - currently onlinegement of obesity and overweight and treatment options

Application Process

Service Access: Registration Required, Patients can self refer to any of the community education workshops. For questions about classes, please call the Weight Management Informaion line, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (excluding statutory holidays).
This program is not recommended for pregnant women or persons under 18 years.
