Description
Provides a second stage women's shelter for families who have left abuse and are transitioning from a front-line crisis agency.

Service offers:

  • a second stage women's shelter for families who have left abuse and are transitioning from a front-line crisis agency

Includes:

  • accommodations in 1 of 12 furnished suites for approximately 1 year
  • assistance with accessing educational, employment, and training opportunities
  • group workshops
  • 1-on-1 counselling
  • childcare
  • Indigenous supports
  • outreach services
  • system navigation and advocacy
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • parents 18 years and older
  • and their children
  • who have left abusive situations
Application Process
Service Access: Professional Referral Required, To access service:
  • contact the shelter for a referral
  • individuals can self-refer or be referred by community agencies
Completed referral forms are sent to Catholic Social Services by e-mail. Service animals are permitted.
