Provides a second stage women's shelter for mothers and their children who have left abuse and are transitioning from a front-line crisis agency.

Service offers:

  • a second stage women's shelter for mothers and their children who have left abuse and are transitioning from a front-line crisis agency

Includes:

  • accommodations in 11 2 bedroom furnished suites for up to 1 year
  • assistance with accessing educational, employment, and training opportunities¬†
  • group workshops
  • one-on-one counselling
  • childcare
  • outreach services

Yes, Service targeted to:
  • women 18 years and older
  • and their children
  • who have left abusive situations
Application Process
Service Access: Professional Referral Required, To access service:
  • contact the shelter for a referral form
  • individuals can self-refer or be referred by community agencies
Service space / office closed to the public; staff and residents only. Office / residence open with increased safety precautions. Intake ongoing. Offering limited in-person services. Offering services by phone, e-mail, and / or video. Completed referral forms are sent to Catholic Social Services by fax or e-mail. 
Service animals are permitted. Referral Process: No
