  • a first point of contact for the Department's programs and resources

Includes:

  • Alberta Farm Fuel Benefit Program - allows eligible producers to receive a 9-cent-per-litre provincial fuel tax exemption on the purchase of dyed gasoline and diesel
  • Premises Identification Program (PID) - links livestock and poultry to land locations or premises
  • Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership - federal-provincial partnership that delivers grant programs that generate sustainable economic growth in the agricultural and agri-food sector
  • Farmers' Advocate Office - issues-driven office that provides timely information to rural Albertans and supports fair process through advice and advocacy
  • Alberta's Rat Control Program - helps to keep Alberta rat free and encourages Albertans to report potential rat sightings
  • Wild boar in Alberta - information on recognizing signs of wild boar activity, and reporting sightings of wild boar at large
