  • a toll free number to report an environmental emergency
  • a complaint procedure so that action may be taken immediately

Service Access: Telephone Information Line, To access service:
  • provide as much detail as possible about the emergency or complaint
Include a description, the location, and the source:
  • location - if possible, provide the legal land location; otherwise, provide the general location of the emergency
  • description of the emergency or complaint - describe the impact or nature of the emergency or complaint
  • source of the emergency or complaint - if you are aware of or able to determine the source of the emergency or complaint; if not, describe what type of industrial activity is in the area (such as oil and gas, agriculture, manufacturing)
Note: do not put yourself in personal danger to determine any of the above information. The Regulatory Compliance Officers who answer the 24 hour response line will notify the appropriate agency and if warranted, emergency responders will be dispatched.
