Offers a phone line for information on and reporting about coyotes in Alberta.

Service offers:

  • a phone line offering recorded information about coyotes or where one may report concerns about the animals

When to report concerns:

  • if you see a coyote that is so sick or injured it cannot move
  • if a coyote is behaving aggressively towards people such as nipping or biting
  • if you need additional advice on preventing or responding to coyote encounters

  • call a Fish and Wildlife officer through the the Report-A Poacher Line if you see a coyote that is so sick or injured it can't move or behaving aggressively toward people, such as nipping or biting
  • or visit website for more information or to find contact information for a Fish and Wildlife office near you
Your municipality and / or municipal district is authorized to help with coyote concerns.
