Accepts reports of suspicious or illegal hunting and fishing activity or dangerous wildlife encounters by phone or online.

Service offers:

  • a telephone reporting line or online form for activity related to suspicious hunting or fishing activity and wildlife emergencies (such as a bear encounter)

When reporting an incident:

  • you could be eligible for a reward for providing information on violations of Alberta's fish or wildlife laws
  • you don't have to provide your personal information
  • any personal information you provide is kept confidential

Reporters can remain anonymous. However, investigations are often more successful if contact information is provided so that an officer can follow up for more details.
