- impartial, third-party dispute resolution services (including informal restorative practice measures and mediation) regarding conflicts with professors and supervisors; allegations of cheating, plagiarism, and professional practice misconduct; discrimination and harassment; university residence disputes; and intellectual property disputes
- operating in a confidential, independent, and advisory capacity
- promoting best practices for diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and equity with a focus on fairness
- individual and systemic recommendations to help improve students' personal and academic well-being
