Offers assistance to individuals accessing government programs, with a special focus on services to / for seniors, including caregiver and dementia support groups.

Service offers:

  • assistance to individuals accessing provincial or federal government programs and referrals to other agencies

Includes:

  • retirement pension
  • disability pension
  • death benefits
  • Old Age Security (OAS)
  • special needs assistance
  • accessing Meals on Wheels
  • caregiver support group
  • dementia support group
  • Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped (AISH) applications
  • trusteeship and guardianship
  • co-ordinating workshops of relevant information pertaining to aging in a proactive manner
