Provides support, information and referral services to victims of crime and tragedy.

Service offers:

  • support, information and referrals
  • information on the rights of victims of crime
  • information on the criminal justice system
  • court updates and support available for victims of criminal matters
  • practical assistance, emotional support and community resources available for those impacted by crime and / or tragedy
  • volunteer opportunities
  • 24 hour a day victim assistance support team (VAST), available through officer referral, to provide practical and emotional support at the scene, home or in the hospital
  • Share Your Bear Program - Partner Kids Help Phone and Girl Guides; kids sharing new teddy bears that can be given to kids experiencing the impact of crime and / or tragedy
