Description
Provides a supportive-living lodge for functionally-independent seniors who require some supportive services to maintain their quality of life.

Service offers:

  • 42 affordable housing units for seniors (8 single bedroom units reserved for couples and 34 studio units)

Includes:

  • resident lounge areas
  • laundry facilities
  • central dining room
  • hobby room
  • access to a hairdressing salon, foot care and massage services, and activities provided at Whispering Waters Manor (connected building)

Also provides a mandatory service package (fees added to rent) which includes:

  • lunch and 3 snacks daily
  • weekly light housekeeping
  • annual suite cleaning
  • activities and recreation
  • utilities
  • 24 hour security and emergency response
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • 65 years and older
  • with low income
  • who are able to live independently
  • and have resided in Spruce Grove, Parkland County, Stony Plain, or the Village of Wabamun for the past 5 consecutive years

  • submit completed application at Meridian Housing Foundation Administration Office
All Meridian Housing Foundation properties are pet-free. Pets are not allowed in any Meridian Housing Foundation buildings. Visiting pets are welcome but long-term / overnight visits are not allowed.
