Description
Provides support to Indigenous families in Calgary to prevent the transmission of intergenerational trauma to their children and future generations.

Service offers:

  • a program to guide families on their healing journey through blending traditional Indigenous and Western ways of knowing
  • bi-weekly groups, home visits, cultural ceremonies, social gatherings and Elder support over a 4 month period
  • training and cultural experiences
  • consultation to staff, children, families, volunteers and community members
