Domestic Conflict Response Team


Description
Provides intervention for high-risk domestic conflict cases where calls have been made to police without charges being laid.

Service offers:

  • focus on families who have had repeated incidents of domestic violence
  • early intervention to aviod criminal justice involvement
  • specialized teams pairing an outreach worker and a police officer
  • protection orders, parenting orders and ongoing community supports
  • multi-service team referrals and follow-ups
  • collaboration with the Calgary Police Service and Child and Family Services to identifyi families
