Verto Project

Service offers:

• a 21 week group-based, pre-employability skills program for at-risk youth, 18 to 24 years old
• a 12 week work experience component

Goals include:

• instilling youth with skills needed to transition back into school or employment and away from harmful lifestyles
• teaching youth about conflict management, communication skills, asset development, employment development, and leadership skills
• empowering youth to identify the risk factors that have promoted and enabled their current choices and to identify and implement the protective factors that can assist in decreasing those same behaviours

Can accommodate up to 10 youth.
