- opportunities for newcomer professionals to connect with a local person with a similar background to explore employment possibilities
- opportunities for local professionals to engage in career mentoring with a newcomer
- a short duration commitment framework (3-4 months)
- no requirement for mentor to obtain a job for the mentee
