The purpose of Kindergarten Tour is as follows:
- To provide children an opportunity to visit the hospital
- To gain awareness/education
- To help alleviate fear of potential hospitalization
Affiliation: Grey Nuns Hospital, Misericordia Community Hospital
Key Provider: emergency medical services (EMSs), lab technologists, licensed practical nurses (LPNs), orthopedic technologists, registered nurses (RNs), volunteers, x-ray technologists - Eligibility

- Application Process
- Service Access: By Appointment, Tours run througout the school year from October to June. Contact Volunteer Services in the hospital. The volunteer department will contact the school to confirm the booking.
Misericordia tours are offered on Thursdays from 9:15 - 11;15 am or from 1:00 - 3:00 pm.
Grey Nuns tours are offered on Mondays from 9:00 - 11:00 am or 1:00 - 3:00 pm.

At the Misericordia Hospital the tour costs $40.00 for each class. Classroom kits include: a cap, stethoscope, syringe, tongue depressor and a coloring book. The Misericordia kit also includes casting supplies.
At the Grey Nuns Hospital the tour costs $40.00 for each class. Classroom kits include: a cap, stethoscope, syringe, tongue depressor and a coloring book. The Grey Nuns Hospital also offers the tour without a kit for the cost of $25.00.
