- Provides surgery and recovery for various surgical procedures.
Serving the community with emergent, urgent and elective surgery offered to pediatric and adult patients. Urgent / emergent surgical cases are done by scheduled evening staff, 7 days a week. Patients are monitored before being transferred back to the inpatient or day surgery units.
Procedures may include:

- ear nose and throat
- general surgery
- gynecology
- obstetrics
- orthopedics
- ophthalmology
- trauma
- spine
- total joint arthroplasty

- Service Access: Professional Referral Required, Family doctor sends a referral to surgeon.
Pre-admission visits are arranged by the OR Booking Office as are surgical dates. The pre-admission visit is normally completed 1-2 weeks prior to surgery and the visit may be by phone or at the pre-admission clinic in the hospital depending on patient needs and the type of surgery planned.
