Description
Offers a group for youth who are on the autism spectrum.

Service provides:

  • opportunities for growth through social-recreational respite so each participant can achieve their own definition of success

Includes:

  • respite support for parents
  • spectrum-inclusive, non-session style activities
  • opportunities to stay active, practice social skills and other valuable life skills, including accessing transit and interacting with their peers to develop friendships

Activities include:

  • board games and video games nights
  • visits to Edmonton attractions like the Valley Zoo, West Edmonton Mall, or the TELUS World of Science
  • attending local festivals, sporting events, or concerts
  • and more
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • members
  • 7 to 12 years
  • and 13 to 17 years
  • who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
