Supports temporary residents in Edmonton and Red Deer, as well as Canadian citizens in Red Deer, along with their families, in adapting to life in Canada.

Service offers:

  • support to temporary residents in Edmonton and Red Deer, as well as Canadian citizens in Red Deer, along with their families, to navigate the process of living, working, and integrating into Canadian society

Includes:

  • personalized needs assessments
  • information, orientation, and referrals to community resources
  • outreach services
  • interpretation and translation support
  • advocacy on behalf of clients
  • educational workshops on topics of interest (such as workplace rights and responsibilities, pathways to permanent residency, available services and supports, and more)

In Red Deer, program also open to refugee claimants and Canadian citizens.
