- Provides enhanced skills training in job-related computer skills and professional development opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment.
Service provides:
- a 24 week practical skill development program that provides graduates with the skills to become employed in entry level positions within computerized environments
Includes:
- 20 weeks of skill development
- 4 weeks of work experience
- 230 hours of professional development / essential skills training
- 230 hours of basic computer training such as typing and Microsoft Office 2010
- job search techniques
- communication skills
- interview skills
- resume writing
Affiliation: Funded by the Government of Alberta - Ministry of Advanced Education. - Eligibility
