Description
Provides a live-in program for teens who need support with significant mental health and / or addiction challenges.

Service offers:

  • a live-in program for teens who need support with significant mental health and / or addiction challenges

Treatment includes:

  • individual, group, and family therapy
  • social and life skills training
  • and on-site schooling in small classroom settings

Teens stay at CASA House for an average of 4 months. The program involves parents and caregivers as active participants in treatment.

Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • youth in grades 7 to 12
  • who have not responded as expected to previous therapy.
The program serves youth with various needs including severe mental health challenges, addiction issues, complex learning needs, family problems, or social issues.
Application Process
Service Access: Professional Referral Required, To access service:
  • referral from mental health therapist or psychiatrist required (referral form available on CASA's website)
These professionals can be from Alberta Health Services, CASA, or a private practice.
