Provides homes which an individual with a developmental disability typically shares with a roommate or volunteer family.

Service provides:

  • shared-living accommodation for persons with developmental disabilities who do not require 24 hour paid support, using approved home and supportive roommate models

Includes:

  • overnight support provided by a person or people who also share the home
  • staff who monitor the service delivery for each individual
  • support for the family and individual in working towards specific goals
  • assistance with problem solving, direct support, and linking families to support networks
