Description
Supports teen mothers attending Braemar School in completing their high school education.

Service provides

  • support to teen mothers attending Braemar School in completing their high school education
  • a voluntary leadership program for young mothers to gain public speaking skills, self-confidence, encouragement, and information to build healthy relationships, opportunities for networking, problem solving, and community citizenship

Areas of support may include:

  • parenting
  • healthy relationships
  • safe and stable housing
  • financial literacy
  • health for two
  • labour support
  • referrals to additional community services
  • developing public speaking, leadership, and community involvement skills

Also provides an on-site Child and Family Support Centre early learning and care program limited to 74 infants and toddlers whose mothers are attending Braemar School.
