Service provides:
- group homes for high needs Indigenous children that have been apprehended and require care in a culturally sensitive atmosphere
Includes:
- cultural, emotional, spiritual and physical support
- advocacy
- safe, consistent, nurturing, family-like environment
- helping clients develop and maintain contact with their family and peers
- personalized, holistic, integrated programming that assesses and meets the individual needs of the child
- access to staff trained in suicide prevention, critical crisis intervention, first aid, and medical administration
- Laverne's Lodge, Kokum's Youth and Kokum's House (Grandma's House)
