Description
Provides youth with shelter, food, clothing, and referrals to other community resources.

Service offers:

  • a 24 bed, night - by - night¬†youth shelter for young people with no safe housing alternative

Includes:

  • overnight beds
  • food
  • clothing
  • toiletries
  • showers
  • referrals to other community resources
  • advocacy

The shelter is voluntary and the expectations of the youth are centred on safety. There is no tolerance for drugs, alcohol, or weapons.

Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • 15 to 21 years
  • who have no viable living alternative
Also open to transgender youth who fit the above criteria. Youth who are 15 years of age require consent of legal guardian. No tolerance for drugs, alcohol, or weapons.

Service Access: Walk-in / Drop In Service, To access service:
  • walk - in / drop - in for intake
First come, first served. Intakes are based on a 1 night basis although the young person can return as often as required.Referral Process: No
