Provides a safe place where youth can access daytime support and resources, and get a full range of basic needs met.

Service offers:

  • a safe place where at-risk and homeless youth have access to daytime support and resources, and a full range of basic needs

Basic needs services include:

  • breakfast
  • lunch
  • hot supper
  • clothing
  • showers
  • toiletries
  • recreational activities
  • laundry
  • informal counselling
  • a Trauma Therapist
  • medical services
  • guidance in connecting to housing, education, addictions, mental health, and other services

Programming and workshops include:

  • Building Employable Skills Together (BEST) employment skills training
  • personal development
  • budgeting support
  • cooking
  • healthy living
  • community presentations

Also provides transportation to other agency programs and services.

Key Provider: addiction and mental health support workers, doctors, resource co-ordinators, volunteers, youth workers
