Services provided by Public Health Nurses may include:
- immunizations
- communicable disease control (including Tuberculosis)
- prenatal / postnatal education
- postpartum caregiver / newborn support
- breastfeeding / infant feeding support
- health promotion / disease and injury prevention services
- school health services
- preventative oral health services for children
- referrals to other health care and community services as needed
