- Provides support to families who have questions or concerns regarding their child?s development and works with families to maximize learning opportunities for their children.
Service provides:
- support for the family in building skills, resources, and opportunities for their child's optimal development
- support for the development of strong and healthy families, responds to the family's needs and priorities, and maximizes the child's learning opportunities
Includes:
- visits with parents / caregivers and their children
- play groups
- strategies to support the child's development in everyday activities
- referrals and support in accessing other services and resources
- developmental screening
- resources
- assistance in planning for the child's preschool years
