Offers a court-approved program providing treatment education and skill development to men who are abusive towards their partners.

Service offers:

  • a 16 week, court-approved program for men who are abusive towards their partners

Includes:

  • support, education, and skill development
  • a monthly, all - day parenting course
  • Aboriginal traditions, teachings, ceremony
  • family violence - specific parenting

Acceptable as a court-approved domestic violence program, or can be taken by voluntary clients.


Affiliation: Partnered with Alberta Health Services Addiction and Mental Health and Forensic Assessment and Community Services, and Edmonton Probation.
Key Provider: chartered psychologists, cultural helpers, Elders, registered social workers
