Activities for Parents and Children

Service offers:

• a variety of free activities for parents and children

Baby and Me includes:

• weekly meetings to share stories, information, and experiences
• weighing and measuring new infants
• learning new skills (breastfeeding, infant care, story reading / telling)
• learning about topics of interest to new parents (immunization, postpartum depression, baby growth and development, safety, and more)

Community Action for Children (CAC) Preschool:

• preschool program aimed at children between 3 to 5 years
• uses a learn through play philosophy

Crawlers and Cruisers Too (CAC Too) includes:

• focus on literacy and active living
• play opportunities (parents must stay at the activity)
• parent sharing
• informational sessions
• special speakers
• field trips
• adult activities
• connecting with professionals when requested

• families residing in northeast Edmonton
• eligibility varies based on programming

• prenatal / expecting mothers
• or parents / grandparents / caregivers with infants 0 to 12 months

• children 3 to 5 years

• parents and their children 0 to 3 years

• call to register
