- Provides health, safety, and wellness support to Alberta Health Services workers. Also provides management of illnesses and injuries that happen at the workplace or when not at work.
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) services include:
- blood / body fluid exoosures ie. needlestick
- scheduling occupational health assessments
- immunization and tuberculin skin testing
- outbreak and communicable disease response
- hearing assessment information
- ergonomic consultations
- occupational hygiene programs
- occupational safety programs
- employee wellness
- stop smoking programs
- employee and family assistance program
- training courses
