Offers support for parents and caregivers.

Service offers:

  • a variety of programs, services, and resources for parents, expectant parents, and caregivers

Includes:

  • Sharing Circle - a group for anyone who wants to connect with Indigenous culture and share their stories
  • Introduction to Anger - a 7 session informational and educational course with topics that include what anger is, triggers, primary feelings and physical responses, reactions, past anger, and letting go
  • Parenting Consults - facilitators meet¬†1-on-1 over the telephone with parents who would like help with a specific concern they have about their child; a family resource worker will be happy to discuss everyday parenting matters
  • Special Events - offers special events for families to enjoy, such as barbeques, winter festivals, and more
