  • contacting police member's direct supervisor
  • calling the Professional Standards Branch Intake Line
  • completing an online contact form
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing to Chief of Police and include:
  • signature of complainant where practicable
  • who, what, when, where, and how of the situation
  • names of any witnesses
  • information specific to the actions of the officer or the police service
Written complaints can be mailed to or dropped off at police headquarters.
