Service provides:
- a housing-focused shelter serving women and individuals identifying as women who are intent on finding long term housing and stabilizing their wellness through capacity building and wellness / recovery strategies
- intensive case management using wrap-around supports to work alongside women in their personal journey to actively work to achieve their housing goals and improve their wellness
Women entering Women's Emergency Accommodation Centre (WEAC) should be motivated to exit out of the shelter system and cycles of homelessness into safe, affordable, and stable housing of their choosing. These motivators are explored during the intake process.
