Description
Offers at risk youth opportunities to earn high school credits, and learn life and employment skills while working in a bistro.

Service offers:

  • on the job training, life skills, connection to school and outreach support for youth

Includes:

  • paid employment training
  • earning high school credits at the drop - in school
  • learning skills to help get and keep a job or stay in school
  • support and knowledge needed to move ahead
  • supportive outreach services
Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to:
  • 16 to 24 years old
  • who are struggling with getting a job or staying in school

  • or drop - in during the week between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM

There may be a wait list for the work experience component. School can be started almost any time, except during the summer.
