Provides basic legal information, systems navigation, triage of services, and support to accused persons appearing in Adult or Youth Provincial Court Criminal Division and at the Court Management Office, Traffic Court, and Domestic Violence Court.

Service offers:

  • information about court processes, plea options, and procedures
  • referrals to appropriate community and legal resources
  • guidance with court forms and procedures
  • information and referral for court diversion programs
  • information and emotional support to accused persons and their identified support people about the results of court proceedings

  • accused persons appearing in Adult or Youth Provincial Court Criminal Division, or the Court Management Office, Calgary Indigenous Court, Traffic / Bylaw Court and Domestic Violence Court
  • support persons for the accused persons
