Description
Provides the investigation of domestic violence and victim support.

Service offers:

  • investigation of serious and chronic domestic abuse cases and provision of victim support
  • elder abuse team
  • help to complainants in navigating the legal system and connection of the victims to support services within the community
  • assistance to those being abused or harassed or know of someone who is
  • investigation of high risk criminal harrassment and stalking complaints
  • District 5 pilot project (Domestic Conflict Resource Team) in which an officer and a social worker attend domestic incidents where charges are not involved in order to help resolve issues before they escalate
