- investigation of serious and chronic domestic abuse cases and provision of victim support
- elder abuse team
- help to complainants in navigating the legal system and connection of the victims to support services within the community
- assistance to those being abused or harassed or know of someone who is
- investigation of high risk criminal harrassment and stalking complaints
- District 5 pilot project (Domestic Conflict Resource Team) in which an officer and a social worker attend domestic incidents where charges are not involved in order to help resolve issues before they escalate
