- Welcome to Sylvan Bags - comprehensive information on community life for community newcomers
- Shake The Lake - an annual outdoor music and sports festival geared towards youth, children, and families
- Arts Around the Lake and Gallery - an art collective and gallery dedicated to exhibits, education, and performances supporting the arts
- Household Exchange Program - furniture for anyone needing household goods
- monthly coffee meetings to exchange information on programs and offer support to community service groups
- Women's Wellness Retreat - an annual, 1 day wellness retreat for women to learn about healthy lifestyles, well - being, build skills, and gain knowledge
