Youth Employment

Service offers:

• career exposure, work experience, and support to Métis youth through a summer employment program and a career internship program

Includes:

• Métis Youth Summer Employment Program - provides a wage subsidy of 50 percent to an employer who provides a job that is at least 8 weeks to a maximum of 16 weeks in length during the summer months
• Métis Youth Career Internship Program - provides a wage subsidy to employers who provide work experience for Métis youth who are a secondary or post-secondary graduate, and are experiencing difficulty making a successful transition into the labour market
