Provides care and treatment to children and youth while they are temporarily or permanently living apart from their family of origin.

Service offers:

  • care and treatment to children and youth while they are temporarily or permanently living apart from their family of origin

Includes:

  • a multi-disciplinary clinical support team consisting of a group of families who offer their homes and support to youth
  • homes in Central Alberta communities
  • clinical, behavioural, and psycho-educational assessments
  • family and individual therapy
  • respite care and 24 hour crisis support
  • short-term family focus
  • long-term permanent care
  • ongoing education and training to caregivers
  • psychiatric consultations
