- Provides dental treatment grants for children and youth.
Service offers:
- financial assistance for dental treatment for children in low-income situations not covered by Alberta Child Health Benefits or private insurance
- maximum of $2000 per family for urgent or significant dental issues within a 3-year period
The funding cannot be used to cover:
- regular check-ups
- initial exams
- x-rays
- Orthodontic treatments (e.g. braces)

- Yes, Service is for children:
- under 21 years of age
- residents of Calgary for at least the past 6 months
- have urgent/significant dental issues and living in low-income situation
- have a treatment plan provided by a dentist or dental clinic
