- one-on-one support between parents who share a common experience
- parent volunteers to provide support after diagnosis, before surgery and at other times during a child's progress
- individual travel, accommodation and meal financial assistance for low income family members accompanying children for operations
- information resources available through the Alberta Children's Hospital Family Resource Centre
- events or meetings from September to June
