• a wide range of programs and services for individuals in the community

Includes:

• in-kind support for community-based groups, such as provision of an office space, or printing, photocopying, and faxing services
• promoting, encouraging, and supporting volunteer work through recruitment, training, placement, and co-ordination of volunteer services
• information and referral services
• community information directories
• development and support services for families, parents, children, and youth
• courses designed to enhance self-awareness and personal growth
• individual, family, and group counselling services that are educational and not treatment-oriented
• seniors services including advocacy, education and information, outreach and co-ordination, and self-help socialization activities
