Provides the promotion of labour unions, worker rights and cooperation in the labour movement.

Service offers:

  • co-operation with both affiliated unions and coalition partners to further the education of all working people
  • a voice for labour's social, political and economic agenda to the public
  • electoral action including lobbying and publicly opposing detrimental government policies and encouraging trade unionists to seek elective office on all levels of government
  • courses and tools to eliminate barriers which prevent workers from fully participating in the labour movement
