Description
Provides an emergency residential service for women and their children fleeing domestic violence or living with the impacts of violence and abuse.

Service offers:

  • a residential facility offering shelter, food, clothing and crisis intervention
  • referrals to community resources like housing, employment, immigration, legal assistance, income support, medical care, basic needs, and more
  • a maximum stay of 21 days
  • pet-friendly rooms
  • children's programs 7 days a week
  • child support workers who provide crisis intervention and facilitate groups and activities from Monday to Friday
  • weekend outings provided for children by recreation workers

Pets are permitted at this shelter.

Service Access: Telephone Information Line, To access service:
  • clients must call, if eligible and if space permits, transportation to the shelter will be provided
Should the service not be a suitable fit, a referral to an appropriate alternative will be provided.
