Service offers:

• assistive technologies to make accessing information easier for individuals with disabilities

Includes:

• motorized furniture for individuals to adjust their workstation to their specific physical needs
• keyboards with adjustable touch sensitivity and character sizes
• head mouse and switch that allows individuals with controlled head movement and lightweight tapping touch to use a computer with a visual onscreen keyboard
• screen magnification software that increases the size of text on the computer screen
• screen reader software that reads aloud the content of the computer screen
• optical character recognition scanner where information can be scanned into the computer, displayed and spoken aloud by the screen reader software
• word prediction software that assists in preparing written documents by signaling spelling errors, provides word suggestions and audio support
• voice-operated computer programs

• individuals with physical, visual, cognitive, and hearing disabilities
