2021-08-18 COVID-19 UPDATE: MASKS REQUIRED IN VEHICLE. COVID-19 SCREENING REQUIRED BEFORE RIDE. Provides safe, reliable transportation to and from cancer-related treatment.

Service offers:

  • free door-to-door transportation for cancer patients without other means of transportation to active treatments
  • a dedicated team of volunteers who donate their time and vehicles to transport patients for active treatment at approved cancer treatment facilities

Eligibility
Yes, Service targeted to individuals:
  • age 18 and older; if younger than 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian
  •  who do not have other means of transportation to their cancer treatments
  •  who are able to walk on their own and get in and out of a vehicle without assistance
  •  attending radiation, chemotherapy and diagnostic appointments related to active treatment and psychosocial and physiotherapy appointments
